Why sports and adventure programs through elevate
Sports and Adventure mentoring allows students to experience many more 'firsts' in their lives that they may never have the opportunity to experience otherwise. This can occur through a variety of boundary-breaking activities and experiences in the Elevate Hoops programming, enabling students not only to read about the environment but also to interact with it through all their senses.
Sports and Adventure mentoring allows students to build a sense of community in their life away from school and home. Through collaborations with other youth serving partners, students and young adults can have their community and career boundaries expanded.
Sports and Adventure mentoring is designed to break down toxic, defeating self-talk and remind our youth of their intrinsic value. Elevate Hoops integrates growth-challenge-centered relationships that focus on seven areas of a whole person's life in a hands-on, experiential approach, as seen in our Elevate Sports & Adventure mentoring.
